Personalized Therapy
Individual therapy offers a space to be supported in what you are wanting to explore. We believe that no person is the same, and that means that no one person can be supported with only one therapeutic modality. Salt City Therapy aims to foster therapeutic relationships that assist YOU in developing greater connection with yourself, body, community, and self-trust.
Our therapists are trained in a variety of modalities, such as: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Yoga Therapy, and Mindfulness based modalities.
EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured evidence-based therapeutic modality that helps the brain reprocess traumatic experiences, reducing their emotional charge. EMDR utilizes an 8-phase protocol, part of which is eye movements or other forms of Bilateral or rhythmical stimulation (ex: watching finger movement, sound, touch, tappers) engaging both brain hemispheres through alternating left-right sensory input to desensitize, and reporcess traumatic experiences.

Through individualized experiential activities, group participants are invited to embrace vulnerability, allowing a foundation to work through relational patterns and dynamics. Workshops
Learning to step outside of judgment around our body and perception of body is often a gentle unfolding to unlearn our: Narratives, beliefs, somatic memories, and experiences we carry around our relationship with our body image, and what we might have learned the appearance of our body meant.
This Workshop invites space to explore: What might be under the criticism of our body? What might body image be protecting? And how might we invite a different relationship outside of constant preoccupation with our body image? Helping to identify beliefs you hold around your body, perception of body, and how your relationship with body image might be impacting your life. While also offering space to explore what you might want your relationship with body image to be and feel like——exploring what YOUR body perception could mean to YOU.
An invitation to explore what is under your preoccupation with body image, and the relationship you may have under the criticism that so often accompanies our body image and perception from the comfort of your selected space through: Guided Journaling, iRest Yoga Nidra, Body Mapping, and Supportive Group Process.
This workshop is facilitated and supported by Elisabeth.

This is an educational, supportive, and hands-on workshop designed to help couples better understand the patterns that keep them stuck. Using concepts from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), we'll focus on the Negative Cycle—the predictable ways couples get caught when feelings of insecurity, disconnection, overwhelm, or not being heard show up.
In a safe and contained environment, couples will explore how these cycles impact emotional safety, trust, and closeness. You’ll gain insight into how attachment history shapes your reactions and roles in conflict, and you'll work together to map out your own unique cycle. By the end of the workshop, couples will leave with clearer understanding, practical tools, and a personalized plan to strengthen connection and communication.
